25th June 2011.

Cavatina hands over the kittens to Kori and goes for a meal and to stretch her legs. Kori settles down to groom.

Watch Kori's thigh area - that little girl is going to be a pawful, just look at her face!

Cavatina is on her way back, and the babies have a little time to themselves until the Milk Bar is open.

23rd June 2011.

Slave picked us up and showed us what was outside our pen this morning.

Mummy was very cross about it and we have had to be ever so good to make up for it.

But it looked so exciting that we're plotting how to get out there again, without Mummy or Kori seeing us!

22nd June 2011.

This is wonderful , isn't it?

Sharing the joy and the caring , makes it seem more special.

But what on earth will we do when they get bigger?

This little girl is an adorable rascal! My little boy here is a cuddle-bug!

We appear to have one girl and three boys. Colours - seal, blue, lilac or chocolate!

20th June 2011.

My little family is one week old exactly.

They are growing fast and I love to feel them purring to me when they are fed, warm and going to sleep!

They love to cuddle up with each other. Well, they are Tonks! They love it when Kori comes to help look after us (and so do I!)

I would give my life for my precious babies.

My heart fills with overwhelming love when I look at them.

I am their Mother.

18th June 2011.

Five days old exactly, and how they have changed!

Eight tiny black eyes are hungrily inspecting the world, and it is far quieter now .

The baby-pink noses are disappearing and someone has drawn with eye-liner around three pairs of ears!

17th June 2011.

From Kori: late on Monday afternoon, Cavatina presented us with four adorable little babies. She took over Slave's big bed, but eventually accepted an igloo bed, which is far too small.

Before they were 48 hours old, this is what they were up to . Yes, Little Noisy DID climb out, and yes, their eyes were opening!

The babies have already found out how to manage Mum and Slave, so I have stepped in and now share the "mothering" with Cavatina. The igloo is so small that the babies have to lie on me to suckle, but that means that I can wash bottoms while they are at the Bar, and it saves Mum a job.

10th June 2011, 4pm

Ooops, my tummy is going all downhill !

7th June 2011 - 3 days to go!

Kori is a fastidious carer . However, roles get mixed, and she tends to treat Cavatina as a kitten, even trying to pick her up or move her!

6th June 2011.

Peace at last. Companionship and also, like this, no-one can start inspecting my tummy!

Watching over them? Oh, he's their very special Easter present, Larry the Lamb.

31st May 2011.

Cavatina has about 10 uncomfortable days to wait now.

She doesn't know where to put herself, or what to do .

Kori tries to play with her, but she is just not in the mood!

Her tail says it all - Cavatina can't settle to anything. Kori takes pity, and "mothers" her, but stands no nonsense. Even being pregnant is not an excuse for naughty behaviour!

22nd May 2011.

Kori has taken on the role of Handmaiden (but at times she treats me like a kitten and I have to put her straight).

A boy not afraid to show in public that he loves his Mum!
